| Back Home | Hills of Roane CountyI normally like to avoid tunes that have been tabbed elsewhere, but a great Paris flatpicker, Thierry Massoubre, sent me this corrected version. This was played on the album 'Tony Rice' of which I'm sure most of us are familiar with. I've always figured this tune was done in the 'F' position, but after hearing this version done in the 'D' position, it sounds more accurate. Make sure you tune the 6th string to low D. |
