Freeborn Man

I don't know many people who aren't familiar with this famous break from the Bluegrass Greatest Show On Earth album. I've never seen it tabbed before so I gave it my best shot. I believe Tony was using a transducer on his guitar at the time. It was also very difficult in some palces to hear the note as it always is in a live recording, but I think I've come pretty close if not right on. A note about measures 8 - 9. I'm pretty confident this is what Tony is doing. The three notes very close to each other represent a quick brush of those strings, and try to emphasize the 2nd string note at the 4th fret. Also, the two chokes are hard chokes. Try to choke them up to the 8th fret, and then choke it back down. Tony picks each choke hard for emphasis. The timing needs to be precise. Measures 11-12. This is a spectacular series of bend/pulloffs. It is also a famous syncopated phrase I've heard him use many times in various forms. He actually bends the strings before he does the pulloff.
